Organic isn’t just important for decreasing the risk of pesticide exposure on food for you and your family, organic production also has some serious health benefits for farmers and farmworkers. There is so much research on the dangerous health impacts of conventional pesticides that the Organic Center decided to bring it all together in a poignant report that details the impacts of the conventional use of synthetic pesticides on farmer and farmworker health – and how organic can be used as a model to decrease the exposure of this important part of our society.
