Study: GMOs linked to leukemia and anemia
Be careful what you eat! Toxins produced by some Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) may be linked to developing leukemia and anemia. A new study published in the Journal of Hematology & Thromboembolic Diseases has found that Cry proteins, which are produced in some GMOs, may lead to toxic effects on blood cells. Even at the lowest levels of testing this study found a significant reduction in bone marrow cell proliferation and these effects became more evident with increased time exposure. The study warns that further research must be done before concluding that GMOs are safe for consumption. Remember, you can avoid GMO toxins by choosing USDA certified organic food!
