Pesticide contamination in Korean leafy green vegetables
A new study published in the journal Food Additives and Contaminants has assessed pesticide contamination in leafy greens grown in South Korea. More than 8,000 samples of leafy vegetables were tested for pesticide residues between 2010 and 2014. Researchers found that more than 10% of the samples tested contained pesticide residues, and 118 of those samples exceeded the Korean maximum residue limit.
