Dr. Nettles Organic Lavender Lemonade

The (in)credible science

Organic lemons were found to be preferred by 78% of consumers. A study identified organic lemons as having a higher concentration of aroma-inducing volatile compounds, with 20–38% more of the three most common of these compounds. Consumers recognized the increased level of these compounds, identifying organic lemons as more aromatic—possibly leading to a preference in taste.
